SUZY’S approach to Aqua aerobics is it should be fun, easy to follow, and enjoyable for everyone in the pool. No matter what condition your in you should be able to move in class. The Aquatic environment is very friendly as the water supports the body, reducing impact on the joints by up to 50%. This is why Aqua Aerobics is great for everyone. The water offers 6X the resistance of air, so moving thru the water during a class becomes a workout in itself. As you progress in your personal fitness you will find that you can increase your range of movement and the force with which you move the water to tailor your aqua exercise class to meet your needs. Aqua Aerobics works for everyone. Even non swimmers. To me there is nothing negative about working out in the water. Well maybe just one thing. Your hair might get wet!
